After a very fruitful, enjoyable and exhausting (in a good way!) day at the Wedding Institute yesterday i thought i’d give myself the morning off from sewing and take the time to share this fabulously sweet shoot i have been dying to show off for more than a year now!
Hannah Gooch of the Ebury Collection contacted me last September to enquire about borrowing headwear for her amazing shoot. There were a handful of hugely talented suppliers already involved and the results were nothing less than perfect. Hannah paired my ‘Niamph’ headpiece with the amazing ‘Dragonfly‘ dress from Claire Pettibone, which is such a unique gown and it sits perfectly with the delicate dried lavender, pyrite clusters and beaded leaves in my hair wreath.
“Back in September last year, a team of super creative people gathered at a secret location in East Sussex. A privately owned home with incredible gardens. How lucky were we to be able to use it for the day?! Formal gardens, teamed with wild flower gardens, secret pathways, manicured lawns and a custom built water feature which had to be lifted in by crane. We were spoilt for choice for locations to shoot…”
Sarah Gawler is the lovely lady responsible for the photography, her work is absolutely amazing and she makes a perfect team with Hannah.
The shoot was also featured in the July/August issue of You & Your Wedding Magazine, which is why it was kept a secret for so long.
These are simply a selection of my favourite images, there are more breathtaking pics on the Ebury Collection Website HERE and the shoot was also featured on Love My Dress HERE. I’d like to thank Hannah and her team for letting me be part of the shoot and for all their hard work on the day, though i’m sure being surrounded by all the prettiness of this shoot would feel nothing like work!
